What's the difference between rigid, flex, HDI and Rogers PCBs?
Rigid PCBs use a solid FR-4 substrate for standard electronics. Flex PCBs use polyimide film so the circuit can bend or fold. HDI PCBs pack more connections into less space using laser microvias. Rogers PCBs use specialised high-frequency laminates for RF, microwave and high-speed designs where signal integrity is critical.
